Nautanki Theatre Programme Launch for 2025

The Theque Qalander: [Awareness Program]

A beginner-friendly program designed to spark interest in live performance and theatre, aiming to nurture a community of creatives and artists new to the arts. The Theque Qalander initiative will also innovate audience engagement within Australia’s South Asian diaspora. Expressions of Interest will be opening soon.

Saray Project: [Artists Development Program]

Following the success of the Step-in Saray project in 2023, Nautanki will launch its second iteration in 2025, collaborating with two industry professionals/mentors for a skill and sector development program. This initiative is primarily a mentorship program culminating in a pitching session. 

Seed funding for the project is generously provided by the SBW Foundation.

Advantage Room: [Creative Work Development Program]

Advantage Room is a development lab. Writers/Creatives work with Nautanki Theatre’s Creative Director Neel Banerjee and consultants to develop their work. 

Seed funding has been secured through the Parramatta Council.

Annual Theatre Mela: [Community Outreach and Audience Development]

Theatre Mela hits a massive ten-year target. Several events in multivenue will be curated. A programme will be released soon. Mela will be from 25th -27th July 2025.

Seed funding is secured through MCNSW.
