A showcase of the artistic journey of Uzma Gillani

A mesmerising and unforgettable evening of theatre, showcasing the creative & artistic body of work of the legendary Uzma Gillani.

Reprising her most poignant roles from her 60 years of TV career, will be the Sakina Samo, one of the most powerful contemporary actors of our time, along with Reema Gillani and an ensemble cast of actors.

Uzma Gillani

If there is an actress who defines the word legendary in the realm of the Pakistani television, it is undoubtedly Uzma Gillani who deserves this honour. One of the most talented and inspiring actresses of our times, with a career spanning over six decades, she has acted in hundreds of plays and serials during her acting career. Uzma hails from a literary family and has penned countless screenplays for TV and stage. She is also the published author of two books. Uzma has written and directed many plays for stage in Sydney and is also sought after in the Sydney literary scene for her beautiful recitation of poetry and prose.
Uzma is a cancer survivor and dedicates her time to raise awareness and fundraising for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Australia, which is a cause very close to her heart.

Sakina Samo

A director and a prolific actor, Sakina Samo is one of the most poignant artistes from Pakistan. During her career, spanning decades, she has portrayed roles that have tackled with social and taboo issues.
Sakina continues to deliver powerhouse performances and projects that have amassed both critical and commercial acclaim. In a very special performance, she will reprise the most important works of her contemporary, Uzma Gillani on stage.
Uzma is a cancer survivor and dedicates her time to raise awareness and fundraising for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Australia, which is a cause very close to her heart.
