The Jungle Book is back. Nautanki had a successful season in 2017 for this play at the same venue. Join us for this magnificent Australian take of the story of internationally acclaimed playwright, Craig Higginson’s adaptation of The Jungle Book, presented by Nautanki Theatre.
This play honours the book by Rudyard Kipling which has enchanted families for generations, whilst asking the question ‘who is your true family?’ A contemporary take on Kipling’s story woven with stunning music and storytelling.
Based on a version by the celebrated director Tim Supple, this adaptation was first staged at Johannesburg’s Market Theatre in 2008. This powerful and magical version of a much-loved classic is as resonant now as it was when it first appeared – both within South Africa and beyond its borders.
Please note
This production contains smoke haze, strobe lighting and loud noises. Suitable for ages
